There was a time in the history of Talgania where you could travel to any part of the world, but that time has passed
with the great Cataclysm. Once the powers of the old was unleashed the world as we knew it was no more.
Having the world broken apart into islands with magical barriers separating some from others changed everything.
Many years later portals were discovered which allowed the people living on the planet to once more connect
to each other, but with limited knowledge of these portals it is still not easy to travel around
and sometimes you don't end up where you had planned to go…

Islands Of War is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game set in the time span 600 years after
the great Cataclysm. The races have once more fueled their anger towards each other and have
forgotten what happened in the first major war. You adventure into this war with your wits and your weapon.
And you can bring as many friends as you want with you to join thousands of
other players carving your name in the history books of Talgania.

What does IOW have to offer?
Unlike most MMORPGs, Islands Of War not only allows players to play the game at their own pace, but allows them
to emerge themselves into the story line and the world. The quest system provides a wide variety of captivating
quests with story elements with multiple endings giving that unique feel that the players choices makes
a difference to where you will end up. If you combine this with a flexible reward system you have a quest
system that will keep captivating your interest.

Islands Of War's combat skill system is also unique allowing a player to choose there own type of character that
suits best their combat style and tactics against multiple opponents. To top it off there is a builders club system
allowing players to create their own adventures and game play type with the creation of their own islands.
They can share these islands with their friends or if it follows the guidelines it can be incorporated
right into the history books of Talgania.

What does IOW cost to play and how do I get started?
Islands of War is free to download and play. You will have a set of islands and areas you can play which will
allow you to advance your character to the maximum character level of the game without paying anything.
We will be selling items that will improve your gaming experience like a special backpack for more
storage or extra character slots if you want to create more than two characters.
Additional to this there will be many island packages you can choose from to buy if you wish and add
to your free collection. These islands will offer other adventures other than the free ones but you
don't have to buy them all, you can choose which adventures and story line you want to follow.
This also allows our builders club members that have built their own Islands which follow the guidelines
to add their islands to the main world collection for others to buy, which in return can generate
them some revenue, thus opening up the world of Talgania to players to leave their mark in the history books.
